We cater for beginners through to the experienced snorkelers. If you are new to snorkeling then with our professional team of dive leaders we can teach you some snorkeling skills and basic training in our purpose built training pool before moving on to some more advanced snorkeling techniques. We supply all of your hire equipment from masks to wetsuits. This program is great base program to start your underwater adventure.

Snorkeling Adventure 1
After some snorkeling theory in our classroom, we will begin your snorkeling adventure by fitting you with our custom made hire gear making sure everything is the correct fit and comfortable to wear. We then will teach beginners the basic skills of snorkeling or if you've done it all before we'll teach you some more advanced techniques. Once you've perfected the art of snorkeling we will take you on a shore dive and put all these practices into play!

Snorkeling Adventure 2
Once fitted in our hire gear we will visit the best marine park in Port Phillip Bay, Pope's Eye. After a snorkel brief and a little history about Pope's Eye it's into the clear blue water we go. After enjoying the marine life at Pope's Eye it's then we move on to Chinaman's Hat. This is a custom built habitat for our big brown eyed playful seals. Here we get to snorkel with the seals in their own environment. An experience not to miss for all ages.
Includes: Hire gear, snorkel at Pope's Eye and snorkel with the seals. Duration: 2.5 hrs
First of all we fit you out in our custom made hire gear then off to Pope's eye to snorkel our beautiful marine park.
You will see all the different species of marine life that we have all around the bay, right here at Pope's eye.
Then off to play with the seals at China man's Hat. Remember the more you interact and have fun with them the more they will play back!
Once finished our snorkel package then we will more on to learn about scuba diving. Back at QDC will teach you some basics of scuba diving in our classroom and then once kitted out in scuba gear into our diver training pool where we will teach you how to scuba dive.

Snorkel Course
SSI's Snorkel Diver program is full of tips and advice to help make snorkeling easier and more fun.
In the academic session, you will be introduced to snorkeling equipment including: the mask, fins, snorkel and wetsuits. You will learn how to get in and out of the water, how to move in the water with ease and how to identify beautiful fish.
Includes: Student kit, theory lesson, hire gear and certification card. Duration: 5hrs
