Scuba Rangers is for any active kid age 8 to 12. You must have basic swimming skills, be comfortable in the water, and be in good health. In the program, you work your way through five basic levels. You'll get cool rewards for each level you complete. Level 1: Red Ranger - Water safety techniques, swimming and snorkeling skills. Level 2: White Ranger - Snorkel review and first time on scuba. Level 3: Blue Ranger - More scuba skills and underwater photography. Level 4: Silver Ranger - More scuba, fun and games. Level 5: Demo Ranger - Demo Ranger is the highlight, because you proudly demonstrate your skills to parents, family and friends.

Passport Diver Program
The Passport Diver Program takes dive training to a new level of convenience and accessibility for first-time divers by focusing on just the knowledge and skills required to dive proficiently under the direct supervision of a dive leader.
So you can start diving as soon as possible, you'll practice a reduced skill set with SSI's Comfort Through Repetition teaching method in limited pool and open water sessions.
With the goal being to develop a working knowledge of scuba equipment, divers will receive an introduction to basic scuba equipment with an emphasis on equipment handling

Aim: To certify students to dive safely to 18 metres without the direct supervision of an instructor.
Prerequisites:
Full diving medical
Swim 200 metres without assistance
Age:
full certification - 16 years +
Junior certification - 10 to 15 years.
Includes basic student kit, theory, pool, and 4 ocean dives.
Theory:
With the SSI teaching system which is the most modern of any dive training systems, you will easily and safely learn the theory needed, with the aid of Videos / DVD, Dive Manual, Student Study Guide & Instructor lectures.
Pool Skills:
You will master all diving skills in our indoor heated pools before you dive in the Open Sea. Our pool training begins in the shallow water before progressing to our specially designed deep training pool located in our purpose built training complex at Queenscliff, Victoria.
Ocean Dives:
Once comfortable with the skills of diving you will be introduced to the undersea world by our experienced, professional instructors. You will learn how to apply all the skills that you have learnt in the pool, in the marine environment.
We conclude our training process with a number of boat dives at some of Port Phillip Bay's finest dive sites. By the end of your training you will be comfortable, confident and ready to begin your underwater adventures.
Advanced Diver Training
Aim: To train and certify divers in speciality courses.
Age: Minimum 12 years of age
Prerequisites: Satisfactory completion of open water certification.
Specialty activities introduce certified divers to a whole new world of diving opportunities. Learning is easy. You can purchase SSI Specialty manuals and videos from your SSI Authorized Dealer. Then enroll in a specialty course, because it is recommended that you practice specialized scuba skills with an SSI Advanced Instructor.
Knowledge. Using the SSI education system you will learn the information about specific types of specialty diving that would take you years of diving to learn on your own.
Skills. Under the guidance of an SSI Instructor, you will learn the correct skills and techniques associated with the specialties of your choice to make you a more comfortable and confident diver.
Equipment. You will learn how to use an expanded range of equipment to help you make your dives more enjoyable and worthwhile.
